Shane Skipper came on FCA staff in March of 2015. He is a Garrett Co., MD native raised in the typical rural Appalachian community and naturally grew a fondness for athletics and the outdoors just like his father has. Shane was a middle school and high school 3 sport athlete and colligate athlete. He married his bride, Rhonda, and they have 4 children and one grandbaby. Today he still enjoys coaching, fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking when he is not working.
Shane played baseball at and transferred from Garrett Community College to graduate with an Associates in Science (in Land Surveying) from Glenville State. He later completed the School of Ministry program through Lee University and has been in the ministry for 20 years of pastoring, speaking, directing, evangelizing & discipleship.
Since 2018 Shane has been directing ministry through FCA Outdoors in his area. Shane and his team are working hard to implement ways of reaching their community for Christ in His Creation with small group bible studies, outdoor sports camp, archery clinics, camping trips, trout & salmon fishing trips, BB gun clinics, and leadership get-a-ways.
